Spotlight Dance Competition.

Wow! What a weekend. I have never been so nervous and stressed out in a very long time, but all our dancers did amazing. It was fun to watch them come on stage and work it! The PeeWees went all out with their energy. The Minis wowed the judges with their technique. The Juniors entertained us with their rhythms and props. The Seniors really blew us away with their precession and togetherness and faces. The Elite made us smile, laugh, cry (some of their dads), and for me they made me wish I was up there dancing with them. And to be honest I shed a few tears after the production number. I was really proud.

I know their is still work to be done and we are not yet where we can be, but I am so proud of every single dancer! We will continue to grow and progress together, but for now you should be very happy with what you just accomplished.

Always,
Danielle

Father Daughter Debut!

Everyone loves to perform! That is why we are all dancers. Saturday was such a blast and you girls (and Dads) did an amazing job, despite the music trouble. Thanks for giving it all your energy! I can't wait to see how awesome it will be at Gonzaga.

Homework...

Elite:
Review Billionaire! Watch the video and remember parts you have forgotten. Also review the parts we have cleaned. Scarfs for Distortion. Fuettes!

Seniors:
"Looking Good," perfect the beginning that we have learned. Father/Daughter "I will Survive " needs some practicing to remember your counts. Review your Hip-Hop on the video and relearn parts you have forgotten.

Juniors:
"Jungle Drum" is fast so you need to put in the work to know your clogging steps. Clean up your arms on Father/Daughter and "Come Fly with Me."

Minis:
Review "Dream" working on pointing your toes. Father/Daughter ending! Know your counts. "Jump" clean up your sounds.

PeeWees:
"Snow Day" needs a lot of practice. Review, review, review. Father/Daughter ending.

Everyone did great this week and worked so hard. I can't wait to see how Father/Daughter looks together. Once again if you are struggling with any parts make sure to ask for help. Keep up the amazing work. I love dancing with all of you!
