Nutcracker

This weekend Today's Generation presented its very first ballet, 'The Nutcracker'. Naomi Talbot was the choreographer and did a beautiful job! We are so proud of all the girls.

Party Ladies-Teen Ballet
You made it! I gave you a big challenge with your choreography and you've succeeded! I'm proud of you and I hope you had fun out there!


Party Juniors-Juniors
You have done a really great job with the dance and have improved a ton from the beginning of the year. Great work!! Hope you had a very fun day!



Mice and Angels
You did such a wonderful job. You were graceful and beautiful and we are all so PROUD of you!

Seniors
Whew! We had a major challenge with rehearsing four pieces in one class, but somehow we made it through! You have been focused and hard-working and I really appreciate all the extra time you put in. Great Job!


FLowers-Elite

Congratulations, you made it!! It's not easy for five people to do a 4 1/2 minute dance but you guys have really pulled through and I'm proud of you. Be proud of what you've accomplished.

Last Week of Classes . . .


Elite:
" Drop in the Ocean" . . . Know everything up where we left off on Monday.
" Distortion" . . . Review for Wednesday class.

Elite Clogging:
" Beat it" The first 2-8 counts of the clogging that we already went over.

Seniors: Review the second half on "Gone" on your flip videos. Know the choreography up to where we are.

Juniors: "Come Fly with Me"

Minis: "Dream" and review the end on the flip video. All of you need to review the end of "Father Daughter."

PeeWees: "Wash that Man"

EVERYONE NEEDS TO PRACTICE! CHECK YOUR E-MAILS FOR EXTRA REHEARSAL TIMES COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

The Last Week of November ...


Each class is expected to come to class Monday-Thursday ready to work on the following:

Elite: "Drop in the Ocean" to one minute and "Distortion" to one minute. We will work on contemporary on Monday mostly and Jazz on Wednesday.

Elite Clogging: "Can You Feel It" a few changes, "Beat It" to 40 seconds, and we will start your clogging number.

Seniors: Father/Daughter and "Gone" to one minute. We will make a few changes to "Can You Feel It." We are also going to start your Jazz Number.

Juniors:Father/Daughter, "Can You Feel It" a few changes, and you will start your jazz number. You are expected to have the double turn to your knee on monday.

Minis: Father/Daughter, you will have a few changes and learn the ending, "Can You Feel It" a few changes and you will start your jazz. You will also work on "Dream" in your ballet class.

PeeWees: Father/Daughter, "Can You Feel It," and we will start your jazz number.

We have a lot to accomplish in order to be ready for our performances at the first of the year, but I am excited!
